Custom Order of a 'Simple Waterfall'

Hello,

I'm trying to create a custom order of values in a 'Simple Waterfall' visualisation.

I already have a pre-determined order set in my table from which i've already applied to my values using Sort by Column.  However, whenever I apply this to the visualisation it automatically sets the order alphabetically according to the category field.  I've applied it this way as the order will need to change dynamically on each refresh.

Is there an easy solution to this?  Thank in advance.

What column have you applied the 'Sort by Column' to? When you say it sorts alphabetically according to 'category field' what field is that? BU? Area?

I am not 100% on your scenario, but typically you need to do the sort by column on the category rather than the value, and you need to make sure that you have set the visual to sort by that category (click the three dots on top right of visual to change sort options).

Please @mention me in your reply if you want a response.
