Custom Date drop down slicer

I want to make a date slicer with a view like shown above where customers can choose which fiscal year (FY) (not in sync with calendar year, ours start in May and ends in April), which quarter of the FY, or month of the FY in their options, and can also choose to select the date (custom).
I have two tables connected to the power bi, but I think I need to make a new DATE table and create a relationship between that DATE table to my two tables and do some work from there.
Kindly advise the best way and easiest way to create this kind of slicer. Tag me in your replies if possible so that I get a notification of your reply. Thanks.
Can you not simply add additional attributes to your existing Date Dimension table. Like attribute for Fiscal Year, Fiscal Quarter, etc. Then set up a Hierarchy in that Date Dimension of the Fiscal Year/Quarter/Month/Date.

To achieve a wanted filtering functionality you need 2 things :
1. Fiscal calender , there are many guides of how to create it , for example :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lt_nNLQz0IE&t=7s2. To add a column to the created column which will check if the date is in current fiscal year and if yes it will giive a text "Current fiscal year" if no the original fiscar year.
The guide for creating the needed logic :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=um0dTXZhuekjust adopt it for your fiscal year calender

ToddChitt I am not sure if I understood your solution, can you please give more details?

I watched the videos but did not understand much.
So what I see from the visuals below is that this person is using chiclet slicer and grouping somehow to show the fiscal year, fiscal month, fiscal quarter and that is filtering down the next slicer accordingly. So if someone click on the radio button "Year" - the drop down below only shows Fis Years. If they select "Quarters" it shows breakdown by quarter, so on so forth. Here are the screenshots to explain -Another thing I noticed when I tried to personalize the visual is also screenshot below -

Please follow below steps to resolve the issue;
1.Add a Date table with fiscal year, fiscal quarter, and fiscal month columns. Connect it to your data model.
2.Use the Chiclet Slicer visual from the Power BI marketplace to display "Year", "Quarter", and "Month" as slicer options.
3.Create DAX measures to dynamically filter the options shown in the second slicer based on the first slicer's selection (e.g., show Fiscal Year when "Year" is selected).
