I am very new to Power BI and I need help with converting my total amounts from the Local Currency to USD based on the conversion rate (which is in a different table)
I have two related tables:
1) Opportunity (2) - has Amount and CurrencyIsoCode fields. Amount is in local currency
2) Currently Type - has IsoCode and ConversionRate fields.
CurrencyIsoCode and IsoCode is the same field that has currency codes (USD, EUR, etc)
How to I create a measure or a calculated column with the converted amount?
Thanks ya'll in advance!

I just figured it out!
Amount in USD 3 = SUMX('Opportunity (2)', RELATED('Currency Type'[ConversionRate])*'Opportunity (2)'[Amount])
Hi @annamill,
Could you please tell me if your problem was resolved? Could you please share the answer or mark the proper answer as solution if it's convenient for you? That will be a help to the others.
Best Regards!
Dale

Hi @annamill,
You could try this formula. I created a sample as the picture showed. (There isn't a relationship between these two tables.)
AmountInUSD = [Amount] * LOOKUPVALUE ( CurrentlyType[Rate], CurrentlyType[ISOCode], "USD" )
Best Regards!
