Cumulative Line chart not working properly for some filters

Hi,

I am creating a cumulative line chart and using the following measure

Cumulative acceptance Count =
VAR CurrentRowDate = MAX('cap'[decd])
RETURN
CALCULATE(
    COUNTROWS('cap'),
    'cap'[decd] <= CurrentRowDate,
    'cap'[Accepted] = "Accepted"
)

The decd is not continious and for some filter it is working as expected and showing cumulative trend and for others its showing zig-zag line

what could be the reason for the zig-zag line as it should also show trend similar to the first picture

Hi,

Share the download link of the PBI file.  Ensure the view is set to the zig-zag line graph.  Should the cumulative sum reset in Jan of each year?

Hi, @gautampruthi

According to your description, you want to know why some of the results are not displayed as expected with different visual objects, but unfortunately, you have provided too little information, and you have the following questions that I would like you to answer:
1. What are the two visual objects you are using and what data are you adding to them?
2. Is this the simulated data I created and does it meet your needs?

3. You can just share the pbix file without sensitive data to help me solve the problem faster.
