This one has me baffled. I am trying to produce a cumulative date count up to a specific date.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iPdmcRRFr5_Zyn5jW56IXr_rL3G2FG_I/view?usp=sharing
If I use a measure with a specific date hard coded in it works great (Cumulative_Forecast_3).
If I use a measure with an embedded measure pulling the date from a lookup table (which returns the correct date and the measure is formatted as a date) it returns some blanks (Cumulative_Forecast_4).
You can see the measures and counts from the two measures side by side in the attached file.
Ultimately I want the lookup to work and not hardcode; but I cannot understand why, when the lookup date measure returns a date of 2022,05,29 it doos not calculate the same count, as when I hard code in 2022,05,29. Any thoughts?
Still puzzling on this one if anyone can help.
Hi, @kavster
Have you tried adding a variable to the measure ‘Cumulative_Forecast_4’ to statically store the result of the measure ‘SelectedDatadate’?

Hi,
I checked but I only see the screencapture. Could you please share the sample pbix file's link?
Hi,
I think the link needs access code.
Could you please check?
Sorry now anyone with the link should be able to access the file.
