Hi. Hope this isn't a duplicate of a past post. I've looked through a bunch of them. None of the problems seem to be the same as mine.
I've got 4 slicers that all need to interact. 3 of the 4 work fine, but one doesn't do anything. I've checked its interactions with the 3 other slicers and they're configured correctly (aren't they?). Notice in the second pic I've selected an Owner Organization but nothing has changed in the other visuals. That should have narrowed the records down to one.
The only thing different about this slicer from the others is I have two filters on it, from the same data table.
I'm a newb to Power BI. I accepted most of the default relationships of the data model as I added my data. Are they wrong and is that my problem?
I don't speak DAX yet... Thank you for any help! Been staring at this for a couple days!
So, not having any better ideas, I tried making a new data source that didn't need filtering. That is, my data only included "Owner Organizations" and then displayed the single field "Organization Name" in the slicer. ...It still doesn't work.
However, I did discover that I can choose any other field from any other source and the slicer works fine. These data tables are all imported from separate sheets in the same Excel file. To make the new "source" I just made a new sheet in the Excel file. This seems to indicate that there's something wrong with that particular sheet, and when I made the copy, the copy inherited the original problem....
Still groping in the dark. All ideas welcome. Thanks!
