Hi there
I have a transparent card with a message working perfectly, to hide a visual if a filter has NOT been applied. The message says "you must first select a filter to view results"
This is only working on one slicer, and I have two. One is Dim_Name and the other is Dim_Plan
Here are my two measures:
Check Filtered = IF(ISFILTERED(Dim_Name[Name]),1,BLANK())
Transparent = IF(NOT(ISBLANK([Check Filtered])),"#FFFFFF00")
So with the above, measure if Dim_Plan is filtered, the card remains in place with the message because there is no reference to Dim_Plan in the 'Check Filtered' measure. I tried the following but it doesn't work:
Check Filtered = IF(ISFILTERED(Dim_Name[Name]),1,BLANK())||IF(ISFILTERED(Dim_Plan[Plan]),1,BLANK())
Can I ask Power BI to check two filters?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Try:
Transparent = IF(OR(ISFILTERED(Dim_Name[Name]), ISFILTERED(Dim_Plan[Plan])),"#FFFFFF00")

Works and I no longer need the filter check measure 😄
