I am trying to show start of month of my revenue and compare it to previous revenue in my KPI. Except My I am only returning the same values for revenue current start of month and revenue previous month. My question is I created a rolling calendar and I created a measure table to house my measures. Do I need to make a relationship in my model view with the rolling calendar table and my measures table and is that why my kpi isn't working. If so how would I link them? Do I need to create a date measure, and if so how do you think I should create the dax code?
Hi @Anonymous ,
As far as I know, you need to create a continuous calendar table and then create a relationship between it and your data table for using time intelligence function.
Then you can try PREVIOUSMONTH() function to create a measure to calculate the previous month data.
You can also refer to LeandroDeodato's link to learn more about time intelligence function in DAX.

Rico Zhou
