Dear PBI gurus,
I'm trying to establish relationship with 2 date columns in from separate 2 tables. Both has same format. I would like to relate both these dates column so when I set the slicer on a monthly or yearly basis, it can able to populate data accordingly from both column.
Every time I'm trying to create a relationship it breaks the slicer that I have set. I've set a slicer on yearly data (2019, 2020) and after I set the relatipnship the slicer break.
How can I achieve this?
Many thanks.
the easiest way would be to create a new Calendar table, and creating 1:many relationships to your data tables. This way when you create a slicer based on the Calendar table it will propagate the filter to both of them
