Creating relationship causes table to break?

 Hello, i'm scratching my head about an issue i'm having creating a relationship between two tables. 

I added a new sheet to my power bi file, and at first I could create visualizations from it perfectly normally. Then, after I created a relationship between the "date" column in the new sheet and the "date" column in my master calendar sheet, the new sheet stopped working. 

I didn't get an error or anything like that, but now when I try to create visualizations using data in the new sheet, they all come up totally blank, as if this sheet was empty. 

I don't think there is anything wrong with the relationship I created, I've related date columns to the master calendar many times previously in this file. What's going on? Thanks in advance for your help!
