Creating a dataframe/visual table based purely on hardcoded strings and calculated measures

Hi,

I would like to create a table which is formatted as follows:

"Metric"     / "Last Match"                        / "Last 5 Matches"                    / "Last 10 Matches"
"Goals"      / [LastMatchGoalCount]         / [Last5MatchGoalCount]         / [Last5MatchGoalCount]
"Corners"  / [LastMatchCornerCount]     / [Last5MatchCornerCount]      / [Last5MatchCornerCount]

.......

and so on.

Where the column headers and first column are hardcoded strings and the variables within [ ] are calculated measures.

Ive seen a few ways people have suggested like the following, but i keep getting error messages when i try it this way...

MetricTable =

    UNION(

ROW("Metric", "Last Match", "Last 5 Matches", "Last 10 Matches"),

        ROW("Goals", [LastMatchGoalCount], [Last5MatchGoalCount],[Last10MatchGoalCount]),

        ROW("Corners", [LastMatchCornerCount], [Last5MatchCornerCount],[Last10MatchCornerCount])

        )

Thanks in advance

Hi  @CJay11 ,

Here are the steps you can follow:

1. Create calculated table.

MetricTable =
UNION(
    ROW("Metric","Goals","Last Match", [LastMatchGoalCount],"Last 5 Matches",[Last5MatchGoalCount],"Last 10 Matches",[Last10MatchGoalCount]),
    ROW("Metric","Corners","Last Match", [LastMatchCornerCount],"Last 5 Matches",[Last5MatchCornerCount],"Last 10 Matches",[Last10MatchCornerCount]))

2. Result:

Please use the term "measures"  by itself, to avoid mixing it up with "calculated columns"

if you can get your required data into a table visual then you can also send it to the dataframe in the Python or R visual.

Please provide sample data (with sensitive information removed) that covers your issue or question completely, in a usable format (not as a screenshot). Leave out anything not related to the issue.
