Creating a Dynamic Dropdown Filter: Fetching Options from Data in Power BI Deneb Chart

Hello,

I am trying to create a dropdown filter within a chart using Deneb in Power BI. I can create a filter by manually specifying options like this:

```
"params": [
{
"name": "AIRelevantFilter",
"value": "All",
"bind": {
"input": "select",
"options": ["All", "Hybrid", "No"], // Dropdown options
"name": "AI Relevant: "
}
}
]
```

However, I would like to fetch the options dynamically from my data. How can I set up the options part to automatically pull values from my dataset?

I want to use the values in the AI Relevant column of my dataset to populate the dropdown menu automatically. Could you provide any suggestions or examples on how to achieve this?

Thank you!

Hi @huseyincenik_28 ,

I would like to suggest you try referencing the field in a dropdown slicer or as a dropdown filter in Filters pane.

You can also work with dynamic M query parameters in Power BI Desktop. With dynamic M query parameters, model authors can configure the filter or slicer values that report viewers can use for an M query parameter. Dynamic M query parameters give model authors more control over the filter selections to incorporate into DirectQuery source queries.

Bind the fields to the parameters

Best Regards,

Stephen Tao
