I have created a table where I can get all days within a specific year (2016) with 15-minute time steps. This "static table" works fine.
As a second step, I decided to introduce a slicer to modify the year and create a "dynamic table". Unfortunately, the year does not change with the slicer, it always shows year 1900. I have not be able to figure out the issue.
The only difference between the two approaches is the VAR “YearRef” used to generate the reference year I need to create my calendar: CALENDAR (Date(YearRef,1,1), Date(YearRef,12,31) )
Static Table VAR YearRef = 2016
Dynamic Table: VAR YearRef = SELECTEDVALUE('Year_Table'[YearReference])
It looks like the YearRef on the Dynamic Table approach is not seen as a whole number. I have tried different things, but I could not fix it.
I would appreciate if you could help me.
I will attach the pbix file with both approaches. Code is below

@itamarlopes , You can not use the slicer parameter to create a table. You can create a dynamic table inside a measure. but not a table
