I have Table A and Table B and both tables are joined using relationship, these tables storage mode set as Direct Query, is it possible to create a calculated with merging these tables/ or Is it possible using DAX formula? If so please advise me.
Why do you need a Calc column? Power BI is designed to allow you to use data in different tables.
I have Product & Sales in Table A and Product and Commission in Table B, and both these tables are joined using Product in the model. My Calcuclated column logic should be
Table A[Sales]*Table B[Commision]
I tried using Lookupvalue and Related DAX fuction, throwing an error message. Since i am not sure what is the right approach, please advise.
I am using this in Direct Query mode and connected to Oracle database
Hi @Anonymous ,
What is the relationship between the two tables?
Could you paste sample data or screenshots of two tables?
You can also try the CROSSFILTER function
Best Regards,
Liang
