Hi,
I'm trying to create a column chart that displays tickets created per month, tickets closed and resolved per month, and the backlog as it changes month to month. Backlog would be anything not considered closed or resolved. The problem is I'm using the dates offered by Jira, which are created and resolved date. This isn't giving the most accurate data. The other issue is, as shown on the picture, for backlog change I am calculating the difference between created and resolved tickets to show the change, but I would rather have the change in total backlog. If any more information is required please let me know.
Still unsure which part exactly would help with my particular issue. Do I just make a date table have relationships between created + resolved date and the date table? Not sure where to go from there
@iabdul-q , I think method of deal with Start date and end date should help
