Hello,
In the dekstop data model, is it possible to create a table using a SQL query?
I am unable to load the underlying tables (just keeps importing forever) so I want to try loading the same tables using a SELECT TOP 1000 * to see if that works.
BTW - I have done this in Excel PowerPivot successfully.
Thanks in advance...

@amir_tohidi Yes. Just connect to SQL, and click on the "Advanced Options" and the drop down will include an area for you to enter a SQL Query.

Thank you! So easy when you know how 🙂
