Create filtered measure with data from ssas

Hello every one,

I created a report which get the live data from ssas, and i tried to create calculated measuer in ssas using this code

(SUM([Measures].[Budget])  ,[JE Type].[JE Type].&[CI],[JE Type].[JE Type].&[NR],[AccountType].[Account Type].&[Bank],[AccountType].[Account Type].&[Cash],[AccountType].[Account Type].&[NotesReceivable])

But i get this value as null, so there's any way to create this measuer in powerbi directly?

I want to sum all Budget Values from my fact measuers with the filter of:

1. [JE Type] dim = ("CI","NR)

2. [Account Type] dim = ("Cash","Bank","NotesReceivable")

  • Hi Abdalmoamen,

    Try the following code for the DAX Measure:

    Sales_SUM =
    CALCULATE (
        [Budget];
        Table[JE Type] IN { "CI"; "NR" };
        Table[Account Type] IN { "Cash"; "Bank"; "NotesReceivable" }
    )

        Create this measure on your report direclty.
  • Hey,

    currently it's not possible to create measures from within Power BI on top of SSAS Multidimensional (SSAS Cube).

    The creation of additional measures is just supported for SSAS Tabular.
