Hi
I would be very grateful if anyone can help me with this problem that I'm trying to solve.
The data I had imported into Power BI Desktop from an Excel looks like the table below. The 'full-time higher study' and 'Other study' column is Data type = Decimal number, Format=Percentage.
| Student | Qualification | Full-time higher study | Other study |
| 1 | Certificate | 40% | 5% |
| 2 | Diploma | 60% | 10% |
| 3 | Degree | 20% | 15% |
| 4 | Degree | 50% | 5% |
My aim is to create a 'Total study' measure that is an average of the sum of the 'Full-time higher study' and 'Other study' percentages
So if I create a matrix table visual with just Qualification and Total Study, it would look like below:
| Qualification | Total study |
| Certificate | 45% |
| Diploma | 70% |
| Degree | 45% |
Do you know how this can be done? Should I first create a measure each for Full-time higher study and Other study respectively, and then only finally create a Total study measure?
Appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you
