I'd like to show a waterfall chart that shows the Revenue and Gross Margin by Account as a waterfall between Prior Year and Current Year.
It will kind of be 2 waterfalls stacked over each other with Account common across both.
That way, we can see the contribution from an Account both in terms of Reveneue and Gross Margin in a single view.

Current waterfall not support these features which you mentioned. I'd like to suggest you to submit this to ideas.
BTW, I also think 'line and stacked column chart' is more suitable for your situation.

I suggest use the "Line and clustered column chart" or some similar visual instead a waterfall chart.
