How do i add a date using a measure ?
I want to choose a table and a field and then pull back the date?
this is an example of what im trying to do
Time Sheet Month No = sumx(time_sheet_entries,FORMAT(time_sheet_entries[Time Sheet Date],"mm-yy")

If I understand correctly -for each row in table time_sheet_entry format the date from column 'Time sheet date' to "mm-yy".
If that so, I think you should use a Calculated Column in this case, and use only part of your formula:
FORMAT(time_sheet_entries[Time Sheet Date],"mm-yy")
