Create a Data Model not possible

Hi everyone! I just started to work at a new company which is starting to implement Power BI. The problem is that I could perform some manipulations on my private PC, for example join tables and create Shape Maps but I can not do it in the Power BI Desctop installed by the company. Under the Options there is any such option as "preview features" or "language and region" under Global. As I saved my project on my private pc and tried to open it in my work pc I received an error message "Unable to open document. This file uses many to many relationships or a composite model which combines Direct Query sources and/or imported data. These models are not currently supported in Power BI Report Server." I would like to be able to use Power BI on my work pc as good as on my private one. Could you please tell me what the problem is and how I can solve it? Thanks!

hey @Anonymous ,

Check the version of the Power BI installed on your work computer.

Also, try right clicking on the report -->Open with Power BI desktop. As it seems that the report is getting opened in Power BI Report server which doesn't support composite models and many to many relationships

Thank you very much! The problem is not resolved yet in the company but our IT colleague is also pretty sure that it is about the version. With right click it didn't not work as well. After we get update, I will inform you if it works. Kind regards!
