Hello community,
I have been researching and struggling with trying to create a table to span over several columns on the same page.
There is a requirement for a report to be printed on A3 page. I would like to make the table span across 3 or 4 columns, and then move on to the next page.
I found a very clear article how to do it in SSRS:
Create Multiple-Column Report SSRS | Bold Reports
Is there an option to create this in Power BI Report Builder?
Thank you very much for all the help in advance!

I think after more research I found out how to do it.
Very simple, just did not see the option in there in the first place!
If you don't see the "Properties" bar, you can click on View and then tick "Properties".
When viewing the "Report" properties, you have a column option. Set that to the desired number of columns you want to see.
I had to fiddle around with mine. I was displaying a table, but had to set it to 6 columns in order to display only 3 columns on the printing. No idea why!
Another thing to note, when you click on "Run" to preview your paginated report, you will only see one column. Took me hours to figure this one out....just click on "Print Layout" once the report has finished running and you will see what it will look like when you print it!
Hope this helps somebody else in the future, as I could not find a single article explaining how to do this in Power BI Reports!
This literally did nothing.
Thanks for sharing, I had a requirement of having 2 columns but had to set my columns to 3 to show the 2. This must be a bug on paginated report builders side unlesss something with my spacing is off.
Did you have to change the size of the body of your report or have a requirement to use this as a subreport?
