I've searched this problem, and not finding quiiiteee what I'm looking for.
Some of the Columns in my data query include:
-Year (as text)
-Year (as numerical value)
-Year Range (a calculated column)
-Strain (Text)
-Broad Group Strain (Text)
I have a "Card" visual of count of rows on the first page of my report, grouped by my date ranges. So a Card with count rows for samples in a year range of '09-'14, '15-'20, '21-'22. I would like to filter *out* a specific broad group strain. So between Broad group strains A-G, I want to count rows all of them *except* Broad Group C. How can I filter Broad Group C out so it *will not* be counted? There's a filter option on visuals like pie charts, but can't find it on Cards.
Thank you so much in advance for your help!
Hi @Anonymous ,
you can put the column [Broad Group Strain] in the filter pane and then select the values you want

Hi @mangaus1111
I apologize, I missed your reply.
Your suggestion is what I originally tried, but when I select the card I'm trying to filter and open the filter pane, I don't see the same options as shown in your image.Filter Pane Open, don't see options to de-select certain options
