Dear Power BI Profs,
I am relatively new to Power BI and am currently facing a tough problem that I cannot solve on my own.
My boss wants me to calculate the expected number of billed orders for each month.
Example:
Today = 06/27/2022
Billed orders: 2000
Total working days June: 21
Working days up to and including today (June): 19 (this is my problem)
Calculated: 2000/19*21
I already have in Power BI:
- Data table with the orders
- Calendar table with date, weekday number, holidays
- Additional table only with the date of the working days (without weekends, without holidays)
Measure for working days in June I have already made:
I am now only missing a formula with which I calculate the working days for the respective month until today.
Very dear greetings from Germany
Bianca
@Anonymous
Please check the working file here Parameter - Google Drive
1. Set the missing relationship
2. Make use of Parameters to pick the day, for example, you need to pick 27.
If we directly use Tag there to filter 27, it will give us the count on that day only
Dear Ribisht17,
thank you very much.
but how can I do now the Projection / Forecast to 21 working Days in June.
And why powerbi calculate numbers on 31. June?
June only have 30 Days 😄
or paste-like this , I just did copy paste

Not feasible to do this without having access to data, I can just give an idea without data
How can I give you access to data?
You can drop your sample PBIX file to dropbox
here it is https://www.dropbox.com/s/c3m3ofrqdolnqhg/Auftr%C3%A4ge%20in%20Abrechnung.pbix?dl=0
I am so really thankful for every help.
It isn't my first report in PowerBI but the hardest one.
@Anonymous
You need to have this filter
Unfortunately it doesn't work or I don't know how to do it properly.
The filter i have already.
This I want to visualize in numbers:
