Count records filtered by different table and by slicer

I have two tables that I need information out of but I want a bit of a circular calculation.

Games Table

Teams Table

I'd like the Teams table to serve as a summary table, but I have a good deal of fields I'd want to summarize from the games table (how many wins, point differences, conference games vs non-conference, etc).  I'd then like to read these summed amounts per team on the games table to evaluate games.  For instance, on any given game I could see the home teams total wins against the away teams total wins.

My problem is these two tables can't be linked easily.  The games table has teams that are both home and away.  I need to sum up both the W from the home games and the away games.  I'd also like to use slicers - by filtering in a calculate measure, the filters are ignored.  I'd like to be able to filter from both sides - I might filter for what conference a team is in and also filter for the season the game is played.

Does it boil down to some sort of calculate measure on the Teams table to sum up the wins - also a calculate measure on the Games table to show the calculation of both Home Team wins vs Away team wins?  Really struggling with a syntax that will work.
