Hi,
I've looked at a few posts about similar issues and tried all the solutions and I'm still getting a blank return when I'm expecting numbers.
I have a feedback form that I want to count the number of responses I've recieved in a time period and beside it a comparison of how many people responded in the same time period last year. The time period is dependant on what the user selects on a date slicer.
I have a date table with the date column the slicer.

For my small data model it works fine.
Do you have values to sum for period -1 year in your data model for your specific usecase?
Maybe there are other influences.
I don´t know your model. Just set up one small to check the logic. It worked for me
