Hi All,
I have a table containing employee names and booked annual leave dates and whether each date is in the past or future (see small example screenshot at bottom).
I have data telling me how much remaining leave each employee has and I have this table telling me what past/ future bookings. What I need to do is create a report summarising how annual leave by remaining, taken past, taken pending (future) - ideally in a bar chart.
So, to get this data, I need a column/ measure showing many future and how many past bookings each person has, but i can't figure out how to do this and what combination of formulas I can use. I have created a related table with distinct values (I think..!) - not sure if that's necessary...
Obviously in this table each person has multiple entries, I have played about with IFs and Distinct Counts, Related, Count Rows etc but can't seem to get it right!
Thanks in advance!
Perhaps something like:
PastMeasure = COUNTROWS(FILTER('Table',[Past or Future] = "Past Booking"))
FutureMeasure = COUNTROWS(FILTER('Table',[Past or Future] = "Future Booking"))
