Could Python and R visuals be removed from Power BI in the future?
Hi SavioFerraz,
whatever happens in Power BI, it makes a lot of sense to work in Python and R as they are leading languages. Even though they might be removed in the future (I doubt that, especially the Python one), working with them will help you understand and solve issues that will stay and you might just decide that you will perform those things in RStudio or PyCharm. So to me, go ahead and work on Python and R visuals!

Thanks for sharing your perspective — that’s a very good point. I really like the idea of looking at Python and R not only from a Power BI visuals perspective, but as transferable skills that remain valuable regardless of the tool.
That definitely helps put things into perspective and makes me feel more confident about investing time in them.
