Hi,
I have figured out why the error occurs, but not how to solve the problem. When I have a measure that returns a dash "-" when there is no data in a given month and try to combine that in a table with another measure or column that just shows nothing or shows 0 when there is no data in a given month, I get the message "Error fetching data for this visual - unable to convert a value to the data type requested for table 'column'. I have tried solutions like adding + 0 to my DAX for the measure that shows "-" when empty data, but still not working. I cannot show the DAX formula for the measures returning a dash, as they are from a DirectQuery.
How can I solve this problem?

@Anonymous , Create a new measure that checks if the value is a dash and returns a numeric value or null instead:
DAX
NewMeasure =
IF(
ISNUMBER(VALUE([YourMeasure])),
VALUE([YourMeasure]),
BLANK()
)
