Converting Fiscal Year Text to Number

Hi all,

I'm running into some trouble because our database stores our fiscal year data in text format (i.e. FY16, FY17, etc.) and I need to create a calculated column to help me switch the text to an actual date (i.e. 2016, 2017).

Any suggestions?

2. a new column =  2000+ ThePreviousColumnCreated,

Hi, @aschlafer

You could use this formula to create a calculate column

Column = 2000+RIGHT([fiscal year],2)

Result:

5.JPG
