Update slicer selection dependent on the day of the week

I'd like to be able to automatically update a slicer selection dependent on the day of the week.

 

E.g. For Mon-Thu I'd like the slicer to have one selection and on Friday I'd like the slicer to have a different selection.

 

Is this possible?

By my knowledge this is not possible.

It is possible to filter on a relative date, but the slicer itsslef cannot be made relative yet.
