Converting 2 date columns and performing counts

Hi,

I have a table that looks like this:

SophRow_0-1668894797427.png

If there is a date present in '2. Date of Informed Consent' it means a patient was enrolled (this will always be the case)

If there is a date present in 'Randomisation Date' is means the patient was randomised (this won't always be the case)

I want to create a visualisation that shows the number enrolled and randomised by date as well as provide the running totals. Like this (ignore the expected enrolled line)

Please help!

Thanks,

Soph

Hi @Anonymous ,

According to your description, here are my steps you can follow as a solution.

(1) This is my test data.

vtangjiemsft_0-1669022171812.png

(2) We can create measures.

enrolled = COUNTA('Table'[2. Date of Informed Consent])
randomised = COUNTA('Table'[Randomisation Date])

(3) Then the result is as follows.

If the above one can't help you get the desired result, please provide some sample data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. Thank you.
