Convert monthly data to daily

Hi All,

I like to convert monthly data to daily data without using relationship. (Too many relationsghip already and got errors when I try to set up new relationship)

Is there anyway I can do by using dax or query?

Hi @paris ,

You can use CROSSJOIN() function to create a new table to combine your sales table and calendar table.

TableCross =
CROSSJOIN ( test, 'calendar' )

Then you can create a new table to display final result.

FinalTable =
CALCULATETABLE (
    TableCross,
    FILTER ( 'TableCross', TableCross[Monthly] = TableCross[Column] )
)

I tried first function [ TableCross=CROSSJOIN(test,'Calendar') ] but it came back with error " Failed to resolve name 'test', it is not a valid table, variable or function name. " Can I ask what does test mean? 

I am wondering would it be possible to attach your file?

The test is a table which is the same as your sales table. I just tested it in my environment, please follow your own table name.
