Convert a SHORT URL to a LONG URL in Power BI Desktop

Hello,

I have an Excel file with multiple short URLs (on a weekly basis new short URLs will be added) and I want to transform/convert them in LONG URLs as I need the informations from there. Is there a way of achieving this in Power BI Desktop? Maybe using a Python script?

Does anyone have any idea?

What is the logic for this conversion, please share details

hi @PijushRoy ! The short links are Bitly. An example is here bit.ly/4a9BNic. And I need to get the full URL, which is https://www.emag.ro/nav/electronice-electrocasnice,as I would need some informations from here. And I would like to automate this process in Power BI.
