Hi All,
I have some Orders details data into tables I have segragated by year. I am bringing these into BI tables from SQL. As thjis is historical data (2019-2021), that will not change once I load it initially from SQL, I'd like to convert the tables (or copy them I guess) into static Power BI tables and then just incrementally pull from sql daily updates to the latest table as to append the orders data.
Any thoughts on how to first convert these pretty large data tables form SQL fed to static, and then create a union to join the various tables by year into one table in SQL so that I can append the daily updates to it? Thanks in advance

You want to look into incremental refresh which is designed to handle the schenario you describe.
