Hi community,
I have a very simple dashboard that is linked to a table that has the following columns:
-Store
-Purchase Date
-Product
-Quantity
-Currency (it shows the currency linked to a store that can be EUR/GBP/USD etc etc)
-Sales Amount in local currency (the sum of the column is a total with mixed currencies inside)
-Sales Amount in EUR (this is the reporting currency of my company, and this column shows the data of the previous column converted in company reference curreny=EUR)
I created a dashboard that shows different views using the field Sales Amount in EUR (that as said before it is the currency reference of the company). What I want to create is a button where people can click for switching from Sales Amount in EUR to Sales Amount in local currency. I basically want that selecting that button all the view will show Sales Amount in local currency instead of Sales Amount in EUR. No convertion formulas needed, I already have both columns (Local currency and company currency).
Many thanks in advance
Hi,
I recently published a blog on currency switching from EUR to other currencies, see if this has what you're looking for:
Alternatively if you want to use the fields you already have you could create bookmarks to hide the EUR visuals and display the local currency onces on the press of a button.
