Hi,
First time using the forum so any help would be greatly appreciated !
I want to analyse trends between our different shifts in our factory but first I need to assign each shift a number. Below shows the pattern each team works and their rotation. Essentially I would like a formula that distinguishes Team 1 (T1) working Sun / Mon / Tues night and then the next week Wed / Thurs / Fri / Night and so on.
WK1 WK2 WK3 WK4
T1 Sun Mon Tues night Wed Thurs Fri Night Thurs Fri Sat day Mon Tues Wed day
T2 Wed Thurs Fri Night Thurs Fri Sat day Mon Tues Wed day Sun Mon Tues Night
T3 Thurs Fri Sat day Mon Tues Wed day Sun Mon Tues Night Wed Thurs Fri Night
T4 Mon Tues Wed day Sun Mon Tues Night Wed Thurs Fri Night Thurs Fri Sat day
The raw data that I have shows the date each operator works and the day or night shift represented by 7am - 7pm (day shift) and 7pm - 7am (night shift)
Thanks
Hi @Khut1
To distinguish a team's different shifts, you can combine Team and Shift columns with "&" operator to create a new column like "Team-Shift". Use this new column as the key column and connect it to the raw data table. If your raw table doesn't have this column, you need to add it in advance.
