I am trying to connect to my sql server database that is linked to my web application (2008 R2). Though I can access the database using SSMS (both on development and production machine). Evry time I use credentials in Power BI, I get this error:
"Microsoft SQL: A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.)"
I have unchecked encryption. I think I may not understand certificates and why I need to address this for Power BI? Can anyone give me some advice on this.
