Connection to Oracle from Power BI Desktop

I am on PowerBI Version: 2.108.825.0 64-bit (August 2022).
Installed both 32 bit and 64 bit client ( 12.2) on the desktop.

From the desktop ( sqlplus client ) , I am able to connect to Oracle with no issues.
However,from PowerBi , when I try , I am getting the following error

<error>
The recommened provider( Oracle.DataAccess.Client) is not installed.
.....
</error>

Are there are any other componenets needs to be installed ?

Thanks in Advance.

Hi @dbcs ,

To connect to an Oracle database with Power BI Desktop, the correct Oracle client software must be installed on the computer running Power BI Desktop. The Oracle client software you use depends on which version of Power BI Desktop you've installed: 32-bit or 64-bit. It also depends on your version of Oracle server.

Supported Oracle versions:

And you need to check if the Oracle server version and the Oracle Data Access Client version are compatible. For instance, ODAC 12.x doesn't support Oracle Server version 9. You can find all the details in the official documentation below.

Oracle.DataAccess.Client is not installed

You can try to use the following link, it worked for me where I was facing the same issue:
http://download.oracle.com/otn/other/ole-oo4o/ODAC121024_x64.zip

Oracle Connection error 'Oracle.DataAcess.Client' Not Installed

Thanks all, I removed everything relating to Oracle and reinstalled.

Best Regards
