Hello,
I have just installed Power Bi for the first time and am attempting to connect to a remote MySQL database....
But, I am getting the following error:
I followed the link to the MySQL Connector download. I tried to install it and it is telling me I already have a more up to date version.
I have MySQL installed and working locally and can connect to local and remote databases using the MySQL workbench.
I also have the following connectors installed....
Can anyone suggest what might be wrong and how to fix it please?
Many thanks
Trev
Hi @trevorjdaniel,
Could you please mark the proper answer if it's convenient for you? That will be a help to others.
Best Regards!
Dale
Where is the connector installed? The connector should be running on the same machine with Power BI. If this didn't solve this problem, you should try the version 6.6.5 of the connector. Please have a try.
Best Regards!
Dale
