Connecting to tables from more than one database isn't supported in DirectQuery mode.

I am checking to see if this has been corrected or if there is a work around.  I am seeing some older posts with pulling in older versions of the Power BI Update msi file but I am up to March version and not able to get an older version of the file.

I have all the same issues I am seeing in other posts connections work except a new one.  Please advise.  Thanks

Thank you @v-chuncz-msft I read this article also, but nothing saying it was resolved or it is a software error.  I am not able to go back to an old version of the desktop because I need the slicer sync for a current dashboard.
