Hi,
How can I add connecting lines in Stacked Column Chart as depicted below
Solved! Go to Solution.
@Zubair_Muhammad not sure if there is something at the market place but you can use a ribbon chart and on the format pane, under the ribbon section, change the transparency to 100% and see if that helps.

Hi @Zubair_Muhammad ,
We can use Line and stacked column chart to draw multiple lines to display the value of each column series. We need to create a corresponding number of measures to calculate the value of each series, and put these measures in Line Values.
I created some data:
Here are the steps you can follow:
1. Create measure.
Category-a = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[amount]),'Table'[group]="A")
Category-b = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[amount]),'Table'[group]="B" || 'Table'[group]="A" )
Category-c = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[amount]),'Table'[group]="B" || 'Table'[group]="A"||'Table'[group]="C" )
2. Place [date] on Shared axis, place [group] on Column series, place [amount] on Column values, place [Category-a], [Category-b], [Category-c] on Line values.
3. Result:
Best Regards,
Liu Yang
