Hello!
I'm trying to connect data from Google BigQuery to Power BI Desktop through connector. The problem appears when I want to plug in data from GBQ to Power BI: Power BI says that the table I want to upload is empty (however the table is not empty in BigQuery):
I look through the preview step to this table, and see the data there:
But when I click "Table" to dig into the table, it again says that it is empty:
Could you please help me why does this problem occur? I have successfully connected the data from another tables of this database, it seems that the ploblem occurs only with few tables including this one.
Thank you!

Hello!
Thanks for the answer, I did this from the beginning and that didn't help. Also, that doesn't explain why I can't see the initial table from GBQ when connecting in Power BI Desktop.
I found the solution that helped me:
1) after uploading the table in dataflows, I deleted some columns in the table (the columns that I don't need for my report in Power BI Desktop).
2) then I copied the connection code from "advanced editor" in dataflow.
3) put the code to Power BI Dekstop "advanced editor" and tried to connect to the table GBQ.
4) when I did that, I got my table in Power BI Desktop.
So, I believe there are some restrictions or bugs with uploading data from BigQuery (maybe some restrictions on the size of data in the columns or something else), as Power BI doesn't see the initial table from Navigator pane, so I'm not able to upload it directly from connector, and I am not able to upload all the columns after using code from dataflows.
Hi @Katebrk,
Have you tried reconnecting this table or is your colleague experiencing the same issue?
If so, perhaps a bug in the source table is causing the power bi to be incompatible.
Please check the power bi version and upgrade it to the latest.

Hello!
Yes, I've tried to reconnect the table and my colleague has tried to connect this table - the problem is still the same. I have the last version - May 2021 Power BI Desktop.
As alternative way, I tried to connect this table through Dataflows on Power BI Service: first step, it sees the data in Power Query:
Then I saved and closed Power Query, refreshed dataflow in Power BI Service and tried to connect this table in Power BI Desktop. The same problem appeared:
Why does it see the data in Dataflows, but doesn't see in PBI Desktop?
Hi @Katebrk,
Please refer:
Please try to refresh the table and check.

Hello!
Yes, I've refreshed the table, but the table in PBI is empty anyway.
Neither I can see data in Power BI Desktop thought direct GBQ connector, neither through the created dataflow (however, dataflow sees the data from GBQ connector as I've decribed before, the table shows empty only when connecting this dataflow to PBI Desktop).
Hi @Katebrk,
After creating the new dataflow, please refresh the DataFlow on service to make data loaded into the entity.
Then, click the "Refresh" button in "Navigator" pane.
If still no data is shown, please clear permissions under "Data Source settings", and establish the connection to dataflow again.
