    Hi Roomie117 ,

    Use Power Automate to Fetch API Data and Store in a Staging Location Blob / SharePoint / Excel / Dataflow

    Power Automate Flow:

    Trigger: Manual / scheduled / Power App / HTTP trigger.
    Action: Call the Web API with the selected username.
    Authenticate: Use the proper HTTP action with headers (bearer token / basic auth).
    Output: Store the result in SharePoint list / Excel Online file (OneDrive)
    Azure Blob Storage (CSV or JSON), Power BI Dataflow (best for large data)

    Power BI:

    Connect to the storage location (e.g., SharePoint, Blob, Dataflow).
    Refresh Power BI dataset on demand or schedule.

HI Roomie117 ,

Since you can't use real-time with parameters on an API this sounds like this might be a great case for Power Automate.  You could have Power Automate store your parameters and handle the authentication and then have Power BI connect to that and run the refresh.

443 though might be an error about not reaching the endpoint.  (It might be just timing out based on the authentication.)  You may need to increase timeout settings and/or confirm that it is reaching the endpoint (but that is still the secondary issue at the moment I believe).

    I would like to set up a workflow where selecting a value in the API automatically triggers a data refresh in Power BI through Power Automate. Essentially, when a specific value is selected in the API, the data in Power BI should refresh in real-time to reflect this change. Could you please guide me on how to configure Power Automate to achieve this integration
