I put an excel file in the powerbi server. Then I connect from powerbi desktop to this file.
I deploy the report, but the connexion web sometimes throws an error
The report sever couldn't connect to the data source using the information you entered. Make sure you have entered the connection string and any credentials correctly.
The connection is web type and the authentication is windows.
The connection string is like: https://serverpowerbi/Reports/api/v2.0/ressources(idfile)/content/$value
How to correct it?

@Anonymous , if excel is a location, then you should able to access the same using a shared/network driver.
There is a different method when want to connect using onedrive, sharepoint etc., if want to put on shared location
@amitchandak I put the excel file on the power bi server. So I don't understand why sometimes it connects sometimes no.
