Connect to a folder with different files

Hello everyone,

Let me explain my issue. I am trying to connect to a folder with different .txt files inside. Each file is a completely different table and I would like to add them one by one in my model as a separate table. Is it possible to import all .txt files directly through the "folder import" or do I need to add them one by one (repeat the process for each .txt file)?

In the future, I will have new .txt files in this folder and I woulk like to incorporate them directly in my model.

More info

The folder:

The result I would like to have in Power Bi:

Thanks!

Hi @Cmuglioni

From my knowledge, and I may stand corrected, if each TXT is a unique table, you will likely need to import each individually.  Even if you were able to import all together, you'd need to separate them based on their unique nature and structure.

Not sure it's the answer you were hoping for but I wish you all the best!

Thanks Theo for your response! I suspected it will be complicated to find a solution to my issue. At least I will have to do it just one time!! 😅

Cyril

@Cmuglioni you are right. It is pretty annoying but it is just the one time.

All the best my friend.
