Hello,
I want to connect to a Postgre database so I tried two different types of connector:
- ODBC connector: At the beginning it worked very well and I was able to retrieve my tables. After no modification at all to the ODBC driver or to Power BI, I got this message:
"DataSource.Error : ODBC: ERROR [HY000] Error while executing the query
Détails :
DataSourceKind=Odbc
DataSourcePath=dsn=Postgre_Datake
OdbcErrors=[Table]"
I got this message even after uninstall and reinstall ODBC driver or Power BI.
But I ‘am able to retrieve my tables by making an SQL request in Power BI like for example: SELECT * FROM table But when making an SQL request it is very slow.
- PostgreSQL connector
I have downloaded: Npgsql-4.1.1.msi
Every time I tried to connect to my database with this connector, I get this message:
Details: "An error occurred while reading the provider: Cannot load file or assembly 'netstandard, Version = 2.0.0.0, Culture = neutral, PublicKeyToken = cc7b13ffcd2ddd51' or one of its dependencies. The specified file cannot be found. '"
Does anybody had this kind of error on both connector types?
