Connect to a DB view in direct query

Hi,

I want to connect to a view in my database, which has a sql query, in direct query mode, using also a sql query. 

My doubt is that if when I am navigating through the report and refreshing visuals, which data is shown? the data that is in the view in that moment? Or the sql query of the view is being executed every time?

I am trying to query "real" real time data, so I need to ensure that.
