Conditional formatting to highlight minimum / maximum in a matrix

Hey,

lets say i have the following matrix:

screen2.png

With conditional formatting i would like to highlight the minima & maxima for each value per year and for each age group.

So for each age group it should compare value1 of 2016 - 2018 and highlight the min/max... same for value2, value3

The table structure looks as follows:

Any help would be appreciated!

For all but very simple conditional formatting based on rules, it tends to make sense to write a new measure to use for custom formatting. Something like this:

ColorCode =
VAR CurrValue = [MeasureUsedInVisual]
VAR MaxValue = MAXX ( ALL ( DimDate[Year] ), [MeasureUsedInVisual] )
VAR MinValue = MINX ( ALL ( DimDate[Year] ), [MeasureUsedInVisual] )
RETURN
    SWITCH ( TRUE (), CurrValue = MaxValue, 1, CurrValue = MinValue, 2 )

Then you set the conditional formatting rules so that Color = 1 is green and Color = 2 is red.
