Conditional formatting on a Text filed

Hi all: Good day! I am trying to do conditional formatting on a text field- ‘Priority’ on my ‘Table’ visual. I have selected “don’t summarize” on that field. Priority can have text values like ‘crirical, ‘no-ciritical’, ‘planned-service’, etc. I want to show them in colors like critical-red, non-critical-blue, etc. As I select background color/ font color for conditional formatting on ‘Priority’, it shows Count of Priority in  ‘Based on field’. As a result of this, I cannot enter custom values for min/max/.. as non-critical, critical, etc. It only let me enter numerical vals like 1, 2, … How do I format fields that are ‘text’?

Any help is much appreciated! 🙂

@Anonymous , Just create a measure as suggested by @parry2k .

@Anonymous create a measure for color then use that in conditional formatting

Color Measure = 
SWITCH ( MAX ( Table[Priorty] ), 
"Critical", "Red",
"Non-Critical", "Blue"
)

For other newbees like me, I added "black" for other cases and Format  by 'field value' during Conditonal formatting on the field "Priority" as below:

Color Measure =

SWITCH ( MAX ('Table xyz' [Priority]),

"critical", "red",

"non_critical", "green",

"planned_service_outage", "cyan",

"black")

Then on field-> Priority-> Conditional formatting-> font color->
